Raise your hand if you take more than three baths a week.
Hi, nice to meet you — I do too! If you didn’t raise your hand, thanks for coming. I apologize in advance for getting you addicted to this (almost daily) ritual.
A hot bath is already what many look forward to after a long day. It could be a way to relax your muscles after a long workout or even simply a form of self care — and not something you want to sacrifice. Even by itself, a hot bath can act as an incredible oasis — but here a few products that will take it to the next level, anyway.
There is a reason as to why this brand is seen at every store — because it’s that good. Now, I haven’t tried all the different scents but Lavender is a tried-and-true favorite, made with the intention to relax and soothe sore muscles. To be honest, I buy this with a small hope that it will motivate me to actually do a workout that will require the need to soothe sore muscles — but until then, I’m just enjoying myself. Quick tip? Buy. In. Bulk. This stuff is a use-every-bath kind of product, which means it goes super fast. The good news is, it’s inexpensive, so you can feel like a King or Queen while ballin’ on a budget.
This changed the game for me. Using regular, workout headbands and my everyday ponytail holder to keep hair from getting wet is amateur hour compared to using a facial headband for a bath. Not only are these strong and hold everything back with ease, but the velcro portion at the top allows for the headband to be fastened to your liking. After fastening, move the headband back, securing down all of your wispies and baby hairs and moving them away from your face. If you’re a face-mask-while-you-bath kind of person, this set will make you feel like you’ve stepped into your own spa.
You must introduce exfoliation into your routine. You just… must. Paired with a shave and lotion, your skin will be the smoothest it has ever been. Quick Tip? I usually split one cube into four and use each portion for each limb. It’s just enough and makes the product last much longer.
If you have yet to purchase a candle from Bed Bath and Body Works then let me be the first to introduce you to your newest #loml. BB&B three-wick candles burn slowly, last for a long time and smell amazing — not to mention the candle names are cozy and borderline perfect for each, unique smell. My current bathtime favorite is Champagne Toast. Maybe even pair this scent with a bottle of Prosecco to really get the full ~aroma~.
Although expensive and trendy slippers may be on your Holiday Wish List, check out these leopard slippers from Walmart & Amazon. I bought these for $9.99 (on impulse) at Walmart with a few friends during a trip to Arkansas — and still have #noragrets. Slip these comfy slippers on post bath sesh to be extra cozy on the commute from your bath to the bedroom.
